Chinese American Bear (华裔美国熊) is a lighthearted and quirky mandopop duo from Seattle, WA creating fun & eclectic bilingual English/Chinese ear candy. Comprised of Anne Tong and Bryce Barsten, the married couple creates groovy, and “not too serious, food loving” tunes in their home studio together. Gabriel Teodros is a storied emcee, producer and DJ from South Seattle who first made a mark with the group Abyssinian Creole, and reached an international audience with his critically-acclaimed solo debut Lovework. He has been setting stages on fire ever since, all across the US, Canada, Mexico, Cuba, Ethiopia and South Africa; often in combination with workshops on creative writing, music, history, science fiction and media literacy.

Macy Todd's warm, lived-in voice and roots-leaning sound balance classic songwriting with quiet modern candor. Introduced through her single “something pretty," Todd pairs intimate storytelling with an Americana sensibility reminiscent of Sheryl Crow, the emotional timelessness of Patsy Cline, and the raw vocal prowess of Alanis Morissette. Earlier releases like "pocket change" established her plainspoken lyricism and understated, heart-forward style.

Mikky & The Doom

When Mikky steps onto the stage in her 9 inch heels, she gives the people what they want: a larger than life rockstar and thunderous vocals to boot. The members, a nebulous and ever-expanding roster of Austin’s best rockers, add an extra glitter of drama when they take the stage alongside her. Together, the band’s raw, eccentric performance and campy pageantry transport audiences back in time as Mikky & The Doom brings the glam back to rock.

Ellie Barber a.k.a. Ollella (oh-lel-uh) began her career as a musician when she sang before she could talk.
Trained as a classical cellist since the age of nine, the Seattle indie-folk artist merges her technical string background with authoritative vocals and live-looping. Described as “really outstanding” by NPR Music and “so tastefully done” by Michelle Zauner (Japanese Breakfast), Ollella’s sound is organic with a side of edge, pulling on influences such as Feist, Cat Power, and Sylvan Esso.

SKATELAND

Dorian Williams II, known professionally as Skateland, is an American singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist based in Austin, TX. After moving from Las Vegas to pursue a degree at the University of Texas, Williams began writing songs and experimenting with various instruments in his bedroom and Skateland was born. Described as a “bedroom pop mastermind”, Williams blends “dreamy indie pop, cathartic synth pop, and lush indie rock for a remarkable listen.”
