Parisalexa

Biography

Parisalexa’s genre bending sound is fresh and reminiscent all at the same time. Borrowing licks and notes from familiar artists, she uses her voice with a bit of technology to create a sound that gives her brand of R&B/pop plenty of separation from the rest. Her strength comes from complex vocal arrangements with influences ranging from Brandy to Whitney Houston to Amel Larrieux. Paris spent her early teen years honing her skills at Berklee and Grammy camps for songwriting, ultimately leading to her inking a publishing deal with Kobalt early on in her career and in 2020 a record deal with PayDay Records/Ultra Music (now under Sony) She has secured and graced the cover of multiple editorial playlists on Youtube, Tidal, Apple Music, Amazon and Spotify, etc.

As a featured contestant on NBCs hit show ‘Songland’, her song “Pity Party” was hailed by Billboard as “the best song of the entire season.” Additionally, Parisalexa is featured on new releases from funk-duo Tuxedo, Travis Thompson, Jae Stephens, and Xavier Omär, who she directly supported on a national tour. She’s garnered well over 10 million streams across platforms and has landed sync placements with Universal Audio, ESPN and the CW’s Black Lightning.
