Announcing the 2026 George Reiff Producers Grant

Sonic Guild is proud to announce the return of the George Reiff Producers Grant, supporting producers in Austin and Seattle who are shaping the future of music behind the scenes.

This program awards $7,500 grants to working producers, enabling them to create new work with artists who could not otherwise afford professional production.

Named in honor of George Reiff, the grant reflects a legacy of generosity, mentorship, and creative excellence. It exists to support not just finished recordings, but the collaborative process that makes those recordings possible.

Producers play a critical role in the music ecosystem. They help define sound, guide creative direction, and bring projects to life. Yet their work is often underfunded and overlooked.

This grant changes that.

By investing directly in producers and their chosen projects, Sonic Guild is helping expand access to high-quality production while strengthening the broader music community.

Applications are now open, and we encourage eligible producers to apply with projects that push creative boundaries and create meaningful impact for both artist and producer.
